Ted Nugent was the lead for the 60s psychadelic band, the Amboy Dukes. He's also a crazed, irrelevant right-winger.

He claims to be a "Conservative" and he has played at the Shawn Hannity annual Freedom Concerts.
I guess he champions Hannity and Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter and Beck and Bill O'Reilly and co.
I scratch my head though, when it comes to Nugent.
For example, here are lyrics to one of his songs:

I remember that when Hannity interviewed Nugent once (On either radio or TV, I can't remember) I sensed a sort of unease in Hannity's tone over the mention of "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang.
Personally, I think that if I were a woman, the lyrics are offensive and objectify the Mother/Female Archetype.
But that is just me.
And the luggage under his eyes suggest too much alcohol perhaps? I get those bags too, and they go away if I lay off the beer for a while.
But in the end, Nugent, like so many (Not all of course) Pop culture stars, serve the Banks and/or their financial backers, and become wealthy as a result, while the Educated, it seems, are punished financially by this society which exists in America today.
And the Universities don't seem to care either.
Allan Bloom nailed it I think. The American Mind is Closed, and cash is King, and real culture is out.
And so Nugent, and others like him are big stars.
One more thing: He has a saying: "If you don't kill it, you can't grill it."
That has something to do with Hunting I think.
I'm not a vegetarian, but still......
I grew up in Michigan, and my uncle used to hunt with Ted N. The Nuge doesn't follow standard safety procedures, and where I'm from, that is serious business. Only yahoos break the safety rules. It means he's lazy and disrespectful and entitled, also a danger to everyone around him, and kind of a moron. My uncle had a video of Nuge doing something stupid with a deer in the wrong season, and my dad used to show it to his friends and then they'd all talk smack about what a jerk he was.
So anyway, since, according to my dad at least, the Nuge is really everything he accused the Millenials of being, I'm going to go ahead and assume his little article was just a classic case of projection.
