There has to be something we can do. The monster of the past debt from going to school haunts me every day. My wife and I are living with my in-laws barely making ends meet. Right now, the loans are in deferment stacking up interest waiting for me to face it. We would like a house of our own, and perhaps a family, but with this monster, it may never happen. Sometimes I feel that going to school was the single worst decision of my life. It has compromised every single day. How am I supposed to encourage my friends and family to seek a higher education one day, when all it has done for me, is dash my dreams, turn my hope to shame, and put me in a worse off position than the high school drop outs working at Wal-mart with no debt?
There is something we can do. I will be running for office and the platform will be focused on student loan debt. I will not give up on you, Anti. You shouldn't encourage people to pursue higher education. It's a bait and switch trap.
