They garnish disability too. They are not supposed to garnish independent contractors, but they do. Count 25% of your Social Security check gone for life.

100 years ago, people would not have taken this laying down. Prozac, TV, spin control and other crowd control measures have dumbed down the masses into obedient worker bees, soon to be known as indentured servants.

Yes. Civil disobedience as a minimum.

I believe strongly in political activism - that's one of the reasons I am fighting so hard for our rights. But I am fully aware of what they can do to people and that's why I do not think this measure is the best. Read the hundreds of emails I get each week and then think about this as an option - you might be inclined to agree with my take. Perhaps not, but it definitely influences my thoughts on the matter.
