Who's receiving money from the for-profit industry? Lookie here. Shame on all of them. The damned Democrats have received more money from this disgusting industry than the Republicans. And these politicians wonder why people are disgusted and angry? Really? It's all about: Money, Money, Money. F--k the students. F--k the citizens.

6:56 is right. The problem here is that these contributions are actually legal... Oh yeah, I forgot, it's OK because companies actually have "freedom of speech."
If you look at his record, he probably has one of the best records on opposing the interests of the for profit education industry. Given his position as the ranking member on the House Education and Workforce Committee it's understandable why the industry would try to sway him to their position with campaign donations, however, they have clearly not been successful. He voted against Rep. Kline's ammendment to HR 1 (H.Amdt.94 which many Democrats including Pelosi and Wasserman Schultz defected and voted in favor of) which would keep the Obama administration from trying to regulate for-profit colleges.
He also introduced the Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2009, which later became a part of the healthcare law which made the government stop giving student loans though big banks like Sallie Mae making them tons of money in the process and wasting taxpayer money, and giving loans directly from the federal government to students. Despite him receiving significant donations from Sallie Mae since 2000.
Just because a candidate receives money doesn't mean that they have been bought. George Miller doesn't really need to give a shit about anyone's campaign donations; his seat is safe as safe can be. He's received more than 60% of the votes in every election after his first in 1974.
You have to compare campaign finance records to actual legislative records before you begin slandering someone.
