Bloomberg: Taxpayers Fund $454,000 for Collector Chasing Student Loans
What a headline! We need to get taxpayers on board with debtors for a revolt.
I agree with you, Cryn. The problem with so many of the nay-sayers toward student loan reform is that "THEIR" tax dollars are going to (allegedly) cover the cost. Well, I'm a taxpayer, too. Furthermore, THEIR tax dollars are already feeding into this scam (on many levels) as this article suggests.
We need taxpayers to realize that this scam targest them, too. You don't have to have student loan debt to be affected by this crisis. The sooner we stop seeing things from individualistic perspectives and start having charity for our fellow human beings, the sooner we can all move forward toward greater things.
The big question is: how do we do this? How do we get the word out? How do we help people see?
