At some point, do you think you could look into changing the rule that all debtor payments can be applied first to interest? Is there a way to change that? Because, at least with my loans 1) It was not in the loan paperwork that I signed, and 2) It really makes it much more difficult to dig out from under these debts.
So I don't know all the ins and outs about how this rule is applied and what it would take to change it.
