When did you apply for that job, Rhonda? I applied for a teaching job in the Kurdish region of Iraq. I've heard it's very stable there.

@Rhonda - it's good to hear you had an interview. From what I understand, teaching jobs are highly competitive there. It used to be you could get paid more than 100k a year to teach in the UAE and Saudia Arabia. You can't make anything close to that now, but the salaries are good and there are JOBS. That's the biggest thing. There are actually jobs. I remember being so shocked when I actually got calls back from potential employers in S. Korea. I mean, you send off a resume and somebody calls you back? It seemed insane. Ha.
