  14. I just found about your work today (1/31/2015). I was hit hard by the suicide of the child of a close associate and wanted to learn more about what's happening. I'm appalled at the hypocrisy of government and the elite in this country. In the majority of big corporations there are a number of senior level vice presidents and others who do not have college degrees. Often they’re hired with an exemption under the Code of Federal Regulations 29 541.301: Learned Professionals Exemption. There are two (2) Americas. One America for the haves and well connected and another America for the have-nots and common man. The have-nots have been programmed to believe that a college degree is some form of guarantee to a decent job and career. The recent economic recessions have done little to break the programming, especially among those who still retain a job. They continue to ignorantly promote the false understanding that a college degree is required for professional level positions. Their children and grandchildren comprise the largest percentage of people saddled with student loan debt. Those who benefit from the exemption provided under 29 CFR 541.301 don’t talk about it and it remains an “insider” secret.
Its high time that the insider secret of the privileged few come to an end and companies that receive funds from the federal government or do business with the federal government, honor 29 CFR 541.301. Tax breaks and subsidies from the Affordable Care Act serve meet this requirement. Anyone refused a job for lack of a college degree should be advised to seek an exemption under this code.
Someone has to stop this madness.
